In Dream Whirld, where nothing ever really goes wrong (because Bliss just won’t allow it), the Funny Farm was running smoother than ever. After a brief pause for some well-deserved rest and recuperation, Bliss was feeling good, ready to get back to the work she loved. There was only one little hitch—her boss had decided to pull a fast one.
When Bliss arrived back at the office, she found Dick (formerly known as Ned, the yellow jackass) lazing around, munching on hay near the window. Her actual boss was nowhere to be found—probably hiding, since he knew Bliss was about to call him out.
“Bliss, you didn’t call about your absence,” said the boss over a loudspeaker (he never faced her directly, coward that he was). “So, I took the liberty of giving your workload to someone else.”
Now, in any other world, this might have been cause for an all-out meltdown, but this was Dream Whirld. Bliss wasn’t about to let a little sabotage get in her way—oh no, she had bigger and better plans!
“Well, then,” Bliss thought, smirking. “If you’re handing out work, I’m handing out success!” And with that, she snapped her fingers, and—like magic—the Funny Farm doubled in size overnight.
As soon as she stepped outside, Bliss was met with the delightful sight of mini-cows doing cardio in the fields, ducks conducting motivational seminars by the lake, and crows laughing as they pestered Dick, who was running in circles trying to swat at them. The crows kept swooping just out of his reach, squawking, “Come on, slowpoke, catch us if you can!”
“Workload stolen?” Bliss thought, walking past the commotion. “More like problem solved!”
She strolled up to Serena, who was busy organizing the latest Funny Farm guest retreat. The retreat, “Laugh Your Troubles Away: A Fun and Funky Mental Health Getaway,” was already booked solid with guests eager to join the farm’s relaxing atmosphere.
“How’s everything going?” Bliss asked.
